Her work involves close collaboration with public, private, and academic institutions to ensure the business viability and long-term resilience of alumni-led ventures in the Bronx and Harlem, New York City.
With 25 years of cross-sector experience—ranging from global corporate strategy to local nonprofit leadership in New York and Seoul—Sunmoon brings a systems-level perspective to extend an open invitation to diverse groups to engage in both the physical and mental space of "Communitas."
She has spoken about the (social) impact ecosystem at SXSW EDU (2024), the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), and Fondation Chanel’s Ensemble conference (2018) on women’s empowerment. She also conducted research on gender inequality in U.S. venture capital in 2016.
