Sofia Mojica

Community Manager

Sofia is the Community Manager for Heyground, our Bronx innovation hub for social entrepreneurs. Sofia uses her training in architectural design to sculpt the vision and plan the execution of a stronger, more vibrant Bronx within our ecosystem of changemakers. Her ability to realize ideas in multiple dimensions motivates her to create environments that can serve as conduits for economic justice, personal wellness, and community building. She earned her Bachelors of Architecture from the CUNY Spitzer School of Architecture and has worked as a project manager for a number of luxury residential and commercial interior projects. Based in the Bronx, NY, Sofia enjoys exploring the hidden gems of NYC, going to the greener areas of the state for hikes and nature walks, and embarking on creative passion projects with her community and friends.
